looking at the numbers it looks like Underwood will be moving up to 2A. The cut off should be 205 or 206. Kingsley Pierson had River Valley enrollment which puts them at 206 and S-K the top1A with 205 It will come down to if any sharing agreements are started or split apart like D-T did last year. It looks like Okoboji and Clarinda will be going back up to 2A along with Underwood with enrollments under 200- Dyersville Beckman, South Central Calhoun,Collins Maxwell & Colo Nesco will all be moving down for sure. Here is what I came up with I wont promise I didnt make any mistakes. If a team was clearly 2A or 3A I didnt worry about finding correct spot number wise Valley Waukee DSM Lincoln DSM east Johnston Linn Mar SEP DSM Roosevelt CR Kennedy WW Dubuque Hempstead Davenport West CR prairie Ankeny centennial CR Jefferson Iowa city city high Able to Dubuque senior Cedar falls Bettendorf Muscatine SCN Iowa City West Marshalltown Davenport central PV CRW Ames W DSM DC DSM north & Hoover SCE Urbandale CB AL Ottumwa SCW CB TJ DN Indianola FD MC Burlington WE Clinton NSE Pella & PC Iowa city Liberty Lewis central Western Dubuque Newton DCG Norwalk Denison Ft Madison Storm lake WSR Oskaloosa LeMars Glenwood Marion CR Xavier Carroll & Madrid -492 Clear Creek Amana Boone Mt. Break point last year was at #153. That would place Osage as largest 1A. I didn’t go through everything to see if some combos are so small to drop while still combined. I also didn’t look at any splits. Basically I did it the pure lazy way.

If Osage would be cut off as top 1A. That makes Pocohontas as smallest 2A. If so you have 5 2A teams moving down-Osage, Cherokee, Collins Maxwell/Colo Nesco, Dyersville Beckman, South Central Calhoun And only 2 teams moving up- Clarinda and okoboji unless there is a new sharing agreement I haven't heard about
Cherokee shares with MMCRU, but haven't had any kids from there since the sharing agreement. Not sure how that works if they don't get anyone can they appeal to take only the BEDS from Cherokee. Obviously with MMCRU, they stay 2A.
I would guess Cherokee would have to split from them similar to Denver and Tripoli if they entered into an sharing agreement. I would think if they don't have wrestling there could be a way to only take on their enrollment if they send wrestlers over, but I don't know how that works.
Beckman coming down to 1A will impact a few weight classes. They graduated a couple studs, but will still have 4-5 really solid wrestlers in their lineup. Hoeger, Fangman, Feldman (injured past couple years), Wulfekuhle, and Grover come to mind.
